Product Details
Far North Organic Flaxseed
Our far north organically grown flaxseed has a much higher content of the valuable oil, due to the extreme cold climate and rich, clean, cadmium-free-soil of northern Saskatchewan, Canada.
One bag (425 gm / 15 oz) of organic milled flaxseed is a month's supply for an adult at about two tablespoonsful per day. Unopened, the flax remains fresh in the vacuum-sealed bag for over a year from packing (even well past the future expiry date on the bag). After opening, it should be resealed and kept in the refrigerator. (Click here for more about our organic flaxseed.)
Those with sensitivity or inflammation in the digestive tract should start gradually with any flaxseed, perhaps a teaspoonful per day for the first week. Then work up in steps to 2 tablespoonsful.
Cleaned Organic Quinoa (Not Available Again Until Later Spring)
During most of the year we also have organic Canadian-grown golden quinoa. If you have previously eaten quinoa and found it slightly bitter, try our clean tasty product and taste the difference! Additional Super Foods and Flower Pollen Now Available
The Delicious Greens 8000TM super food mix is a great product made with organically grown or wild-crafted ingredients. One jar (10.5 oz) is a month's supply for one adult at one 10 g. scoop per day. We have not yet been able to locate a good source of rarely found fresh raw wheat germ since the supplier we used to get that from went out of business.
